QtCreator Windows: Offer to copy example as on Linux when installed in /opt/qt ?
-
On Linux, when Qt is installed in a read only location( e.g. /opt/qt ), Qt Creator offers to copy the example to another location when clicking on it ( and conveniently, as on windows, opens the help for this example). On windows it opens the example in the installed location and tries to write to ".pro.user" when configuring which, of course, it can't.
Is there an option somewhere to enable this linux functionality or do I have to manually find the example and copy it to a writeable location ?My Systems:
Windows 10 - 64 bit
Ubuntu Gnome 17.04About Qt Creator Dialog:
On Windows:
Qt Creator 4.2.2

henrik@Henrik-Jensen I don't know of any option for that.
Most probably it is not implemented for Windows. You could create a change request for that.
