        The question is very vague.
The first error is meaningless, did you truncate part of it?
the second error looks like you are trying to build something from a website

Since the day I installed qt creator on my computer, these errors appear.
I just do not know why the site's relationship with qt.

@Larissa-F. said in I found the following errors when compiling::

Since the day I installed qt creator on my computer, these errors appear.

Honestly, I'd be very concerned that your machine has been compromised -
could have been a compromised Qt installer (did you verify its signature / checksum?) or a trojan already residing on your machine.

I just do not know why the site's relationship with qt.

I seriously doubt there is one! And even if there was, it would be extremely odd to have that URL in a Makefile target (unless you modifed the Makefile yourself?)

For anyone that's curious, the link was to a webpage in the amanda dot tnctrx dot com domain, which then redirected to a page on optus dot promotions-news dot org, which presented me with a fake (fishing attempt) offer of a new phone from Optus (which is my mobile provider, as detected from the mobile data IP address I was on at the time). Perhaps someone else knows of a valid relationship with Qt and those domains, but I seriously doubt it. If it was me, I'd reformat and re-install my whole machine - not just Qt. Sorry :(

            Good luck!

              Hi,

I'd say there's absolutely none. The Qt Company/Project doesn't do that kind of stuff. There are places for promoting devices (be it a phone or a car) using Qt and the SDK is not one even less when you compile something.

I agree with @Paul-Colby comment that there's something fishy going on with your computer and it's not related to Qt itself except if you got a compromised installer which is unlikely but not impossible.

Where did you install Qt from ?

Then you should check the hash of the installer.
