OSX & iOS - SSL - ECC(Elliptical Curve Certificate) support Missing ?

Hi
Qt Ssl library supports only RSA algorithm on OSX & iOS. It does NOT support ECC on OSX & iOS. OSX & iOS native library indeed support ECC for SSL.
However Qt Supports both RSA & ECC algorithm on Windows & Android.
Any idea why ECC support is not supported on OSX & iOS ?

Likely related to the new Secure Transport backend that might be missing support for that.
Might be related to QTBUG-59068.

Secure transport Layer on OSX has support for ECC keys. Natively it supports. Not sure why qt is supporting the same. This bug is not related

Like I wrote before, that part has not be written yet.
If you take a look at Qt's sources, there's already the elliptic curve implementation for OpenSSL but not yet for Secure Transport.

Yes, ECC exist for OpenSSL. Not for Secure Transport on OSX & iOS. This has raising the questions iOS apps.
