Does Qt allows manipulation of SVG?
-
Hi all,
I would like to do manipulation to a static SVG image after loading it. Now I am able to load and display using QFile and QGraphicScene. But I could not figure out how to modify the image. I have looked into Qt SVG C++ Classes and found these.
@
QGraphicsSvgItem :QGraphicsItem that can be used to render the contents of SVG files
QSvgGenerator: Paint device that is used to create SVG drawings
QSvgRenderer: Used to draw the contents of SVG files onto paint devices
QSvgWidget: Widget that is used to display the contents of Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) files
@
But could not find a class that allows me to do manipulation to an existing SVG image. So may I know is it possible to do manipulation directly in Qt? If so can you give me some hints? Thanks a lot for reading my question!

Hey! Hi!
I'm running through the same problem.
Did you figure it out? Thanks a lot! -
Hi and welcome to devnet,
The classes from the QtSVG module only support the static feature of SVG 1.2 Tiny.
If you want more control on your SVG data, you'll have to use the QtWebkit module like explained "here":http://blog.qt.digia.com/blog/2008/08/06/webkit-based-svg-rasterizer/
Hope it helps
