Solved IOS: SerialPort module is UnKnown
-
I have an application that uses QSerialPort and QDockWIdgets.
This application runs well on Windows, Linux & Mac.
I am now looking at deploying that application on an Ipad, hence trying to build the application for IOS Simulator.
But right in the beginning, it gives an error Unknown module(s) in QT: serialportCould not find any clue on how to proceed ahead.
I am building on Qt5.7 on Mac.
Is QSerialPort module supported on IOS? If yes, how to make that work?
#include <QtSerialPort/QSerialPort> shows No such file or directory
But I can add #include <QSerialPort> and #include <QSerialPortInfo>.
If I comment the serialport module from the .pro file, i get No such file or directory on both these includes. Is the QSerialPort module supported on IOS?
if yes, then how to proceed with using it?Thanks.

Is the QSerialPort module supported on IOS?
No.

No, it's not. There is a table with all Qt modules and the supported platform: All Modules

Oh.
Thanks for this information... both of you.
