    Hey,

I am trying to run Qt with the MS Visual C++ Compiler. I installed Qt 5.7 open source for VS2015 and Visual Studio Community 2015. When I go to Options -> Build and Run in Qt, there are no Compilers listed.

Can someone tell me how I can use the MS Visual C++ Compiler in Qt?

    Thanks!

Did you install Visual Studio 2015 ?

Silly question but did you install the C++ components of Visual Studio ?

Note that if you don't want the IDE, you can download only the build tools which takes much less space on your computer.

Again, check that you are selecting the C++ compiler, AFAIK, it's not installed by default.
