Why doesn't Qt creator open ?

@Ahti Try to start QtCreator with "-noload Welcome" parameter. If it starts then, then permanently disable Welcome plug-in under "Help/About Plugins...".

Did you update its drivers recently ?

@jsulm how can i start with unload welcome ?? and i just checked that Qt Creator is working fine if i run windows in safe mode.

@SGaist yes i updated the driver of my integrated intel chipset 82945G and i also updated the driver of my core2duo processor and my monitor driver too but i then uninstalled the updated driver of my processor and tried to uninstall the driver of integrated graphics card but i couldn't find it. and i just checked that Qt Creator is working fine if i run my pc in safe mode.

@Ahti Open a cmd.exe window and type: PATH_TO_QTCREATOR -noload Welcome"
Usually: c:\qt\Tools\QtCreator\bin\qtcreator.exe -noload Welcome

@Ahti It runs in safe mode because in safe mode only most basic drivers are loaded, so your graphics driver is not used.

@jsulm nothing is happens if i write "qtcreator.exe -noload Welcome" but if i write "qtcreator.exe -noload welcome" ( that is 'w' is changed from capital to small in the second statement ) it first shows following error message :

and then the following dialog box is opened :

@Ahti There is no such plug-in "welcome", the correct name is "Welcome". So, what exactly happens if you start QtCreator with -noload Welcome? Does it start and crash as before?

@jsulm "qtcreator.exe -noload Welcome" also does nothing it doesn't open qt.

Hi, try with a bigger hammer:
qtcreator.exe -noload all -load Core

Drop directory QtProject

In win 7 , simply open start menu and paste
%appdata% into the searchfield. it will open explorer at that location
the delete or move the folder QtProject
( as to explain how i read @joaopagotto )
