[Partially solved] Debugging QML on android device
-
I have a qml project which I want to run and debug on android device. When I click Start Debugging I get the following errors:
@
Could not connect to the in-process QML debugger.
The application is not set up for QML/JS debugging.
@and in the Application Output window I get:
@
"QML Debugger: Ignoring "-qmljsdebugger=port:11118,block". Remote debugger plugin has not been found."
@and the device screen stays black. Then I have to kill the application from the device manager of the phone to be able to run it from the device. So I cannot use the QML Profiler also.
I have Enable QML debugging checked in the Project->Build->Build Steps and also Enable C++ and Enable QML checked in Project->Run->Debugging Settings.
I'm using Qt Creator 2.8.1 with qt 5.1.1 on Windows 7.
How can I fix this?

I found out that if I use "Deploy local Qt libraries to temporary directory " instead of "Bundle Qt libraries in APK" the application is running fine and the error
@
Could not connect to the in-process QML debugger.
The application is not set up for QML/JS debugging.
@is gone.
