Unsolved Qt Versions for Android
-
Hi,
How to add the qmake for the android development in QT. Will this Qmake find in th QT Installation folders.
Or Do I need to download and install for Qmake.exe for the android devices. -
@Mathan-M You have to install Qt for Android first. You can do this using the Maintenance Tool if you already installed Qt. Then you should have it already under Qt versions. If not you can add it manually selecting the qmake.exe from the Android Qt version.

@jsulm :If not you can add it manually selecting the qmake.exe from the Android Qt version.
I am unable to find the qmake.exe for android.
I can find only under MSVC2015_64 for windows. I am using QT OpenSource version.

@Mathan-M Did you install Qt for Android?
-
Hello @jsulm,
I had installed
Windows Host
Qt 5.7.0 for Windows 64-bit (VS 2015, 918 MB) (info)My System configuration:
Windows 7 Professional
64 bit. Objective: to develop mobile apps for Android/iOS/Windows Phone [Code once deploy many].
Should I again install QT for Android again?
-
@Mathan-M Why again? You did not yet install Qt for Android. You can use the Maintenance tool to add Qt for Android to your set-up. The Maintenance Tool is located in c:\qt (or whatever directory you used to install Qt). Look for MaintenanceTool.exe. For Windows Phone you will need again another Qt version. And for iOS you need a Mac with MacOS X and XCode (so, you cannot develop iOS apps on Windows).

Hello @jsulm ,
When I try to run the Maintenance tool->Update Components, An message is shown
"Atleast one valid and enbled repository required for this action" and I select Temporary repositories and another message shown as "At least one valid enabled repositry required for this action to succeed".I tried, delete the .ini file and run the Maintenance tool, Still I receiving the error.
Best Regards,
Mathan -
@Mathan-M After selecting "Update components" click on "Settings" in the bottom right corner and go to "Repositories" tab. Do you have any repositories there?
-
@Mathan-M I think the problem is that you used an offline installer. Try to add this repository to "User defined repositories":

Hi @jsulm ,
Sorry for the late reply.
I have 3 repositories.
1.Userdefined
2.Temp etc.,I copied your link and paste it in Temp repository URL and manage to run the Maintenance tool. The tool just updated itself and launch the QT IDE.
I had downloaded the QT for Android. I was expecting that Maintenance tool will be asking for the local mapping to QT for Android and it will be installed.
Thanks in Advance.
