    Hello,
    on my Windows 10 64bit and VS2015 Community 32bit I've installed qt-opensource-windows-x86-msvc2015-5.7.0.exe
I'm tring to open Qt5.7.0\5.7\msvc2015\bin\designer.exe without success. Nothing happens!

In the task manager I see the process designer.exe ("Qt Designer (32bit)") with:
    CPU 0%
    Memory: 13.4Mb
    Disk 0Mbps
    net 0 Mbps

I've upgrade from 5.5.0 where all works.
    Indeed the Qt5.5.0\5.5\msvc2013\bin\designer.exe works!

Now I've tested the 5.6.1 and also it works very well! (\Qt5.6.1\5.6\msvc2015\bin\designer.exe).

    What can I do ?

    Thank you,

I'm having the same problem (same setup). Very frustrating. I'm coming from Qt 4.x, and previously wrote the UI by hand but thought after porting to Qt5 I might try using designer, not the best start! :-(

@alienmuppet Do you have any anti-virus software running? If so try to disable it and then start designer.
