    Hey,

    in Qt 5.6 the material design for quick controls 2 was perfect, but in both 5.6.1 and 5.7 the default colors are messed up, they look lighter than they should.

    screenshot

    that "Refresh" button is using a Red scent, not pink, and a Dark theme. and as you can see it looks bad. the same happens for every other color like blue and green they all look "lighter".

    this issue happens in both linux (ubuntu 16.04) and windows (tried in both windows 10 and windows server 2008) and in both versions Qt 5.6.1 and 5.7.

    it works just fine in Qt 5.6

    thanks in advance.

      Hi,

      That's something you should look up in the bug reports system.

        I just reported it as QTBUG-54269. So far I've only tested it on Linux. Maybe someone can test it on Windows or macOS.

            Sorry for annoying you guys, it's not a bug. Only the documentation could be a bit clearer about this.

              Thanks guys. This made us realize some inconsistencies in the Material Design specs. We're double checking the color shades and the very least making things clear in the docs.

                i do hope it IS a bug since the color stripes in the documentation look just fine and nothing like the colors in the 5.7 release.

                please just leave the colors like it was on 5.6 (not 5.6.1 or 5.7), they looked great! Red was really red and blue was really blue. just my opinion.

                thanks for everything btw.

                  @sapr

                  Though it is possible to "fix" the colors, we need to get clear information on what colors should be used in the dark theme. And specs has contradictions on this.

                  Right now you can explicitly set accent color.
