    Where can I find a good example of Qprocess starting an external process on the Windows platform ? I also need to process standard out and standard error.

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

      Do you mean like it's explained in QProcess detailed documentation ?

        Yes, something like that except a complete program that runs under windows and starts a program that will stay running like C:\Windows\System32\calc.exe . It would be helpful if it was written in PyQt4 too.

          So calling QProcess::startDetached ?

          QProcess is also available in Qt 4 so it is with PyQt4
