On OS X, QAction(Qt5.5.0) status tip doesn't display on status bar

I find QAction(Qt5.5.0) status tip doesn't display on status bar on OS X. On Windows, status tip of QAction displays correctly. Does anyone encounter the same problem?

I found the problem when I compiled the following program on OS X:

What version of OS X are you running ? On 10.8 it's showing correctly however not all buttons have a message associated.

I didn't mean the buttons, but the menu items of 'math' menu. They are created by reading xml file and setted status tip with method setStatusTip(), but these tips didn't display. I use OS X 10.11.

AFAIK, for these tip to appear you have to call showStatusText on the QAction you want to the tip from to appear.
