OS: Windows 10 enterprise -
Hi,
Do you get any message if you start it from the command line ?
-
@SGaist
No actually it doesn't shows any messages :
-
Strangeā¦ Do you want to use it to update your Qt installation ?
-
@SGaist
I was trying to install qpm through the maintenance tool -
Is it that qpm ? If so, it's not a part of Qt so you won't have it through MaintenanceTool, you have to download it by hand.
-
@SGaist
yes, I can't figure out from the qpm documentation what I should do with the qpm binary after I download it, I'm in Windows so no package manager.
I used to redownload and reinstall Qt on every version, would it be possible to make update my Qt version without the MaintenanceTool ? -
If you use the online installer, you will be able to update Qt, add/remove versions/components but through the MaintenanceTool.
Now I saw why you wanted to use MaintenanceTool, I missed that part of the qpm doc.
There's a usage explanation there
-
@SGaist
thank you but the usage explanation doesn't show how to install qmp..
This is what I got when I tried execute the qpm commands:
"'qpm' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file" -
You should go in the folder where you have the qpm executable or give the full path to it when you want to call it.
