Qt 5.1 for Android error with ndk
-
Hello
I'v downloaded Qt for Android windows 8 32 bit, The Android SDK, The Android NDK, apache-ant-1.9.2 and jdk-7u25. (everything 32 bit).
Extracted and installed and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the JDK install directory path.QtCreator seems to recognize everything, everything is good with desktop, but when I try to build for Android I get this error :
(error: error: Android\android-ndk-r8e/platforms/android-14/arch-arm/: No such file or directory).I had deleted the android-ndk-r8e and extracted it again, and got the same error.
Any help please.

Show your android configurations in the Options.
-
Doesn't look like the path is right. Make it an absolute path.

Here is a photo for the Android configuration in the option

Have you actually checked if there is a folder called arch-arm in platform-14? :D
Anyways, maybe its related to windows 8. Do you have a chance to test it on some other windows or linux?
-
Yes the arch-arm folder exists in the right place.
I don't thing its a windows problem, but who knows?, may be its. -
I have same problem on Windows 7
-
Have you confirmed the kits have been detected by creator? Those would be located in the build & run option. I have everything working in a windows 8 environment.
-
Yes I guess so.
Here is a pic for my build and run option!http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/49/tavl.jpg(There should be an Image here )!

Hmm, what I have noticed in one of your screenshots is that you have "Qt for android" as a folder name. I remember that I read somewhere else there might be issues with space in folder names. Maybe its stupid, but worth a try to remove the spaces.
I guess that's why the error message also says error: Android\android-ndk-r8e/platforms/android-14/arch-arm/: No such file or directory and not error: Qt for Android\android-ndk-r8e/platforms/android-14/arch-arm/: No such file or directory -
@ Moster !, I love you man :)
It was all about the spaces ( Problem solved )
Thanks Thanks Thanks
