Error installing Qt v5.4.2 .dmg file for clang x64 on the Mac

While attempting to install the Qt v5.4.2 .dmg file for x64 clang on a Mac, I received an error window with these messages:
Error during installation process (qt.54.clang_64):
Command xcrun failed.
Arguments: install_name_tool -id
/usr/local/Qt-5.4.2/5.4/clang_64/lib/QtWebSockets.framework/Versions/5/QtWebSockets_debug
/usr/local/Qt-5.4.2/5.4/clang_64/lib/QtWebSockets.framework/Versions/5/QtWebSockets_debug
Output:Nothing follows the Output: line.
/usr/local/Qt-5.4.2 is where I want the installed software to go.

What version of OS X and Xcode do you have installed ?

Too old for 5.4 you should get 5.3 if you want to develop on that version of OS X
