    This is cross post for "this stackoverflow posting":http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17330065/build-qt5-from-git-qwebkit-framework-is-linked-with-absolute-path

    I just have built Qt5 from sources on Mac following "this article":http://qt-project.org/wiki/Building_Qt_5_from_Git
    But all the tools that use QWebKit or QWebKitWidgets are linked against these frameworks with absolute paths that point to the build directory. Right after cleaning Assistant will crash on startup. Does this seem to be a bug?

    @ak128@localhost:qt5 [git:stable+?]$ otool -L /usr/local/Qt-5.1.1/bin/Assistant.app/Contents/MacOS/Assistant
    /usr/local/Qt-5.1.1/bin/Assistant.app/Contents/MacOS/Assistant:

      Hi,

      It's not, if you followed all steps you have a developer build of Qt. Which means that all libraries are linked so that you can use them right away without having to install them.

      That's useful if you are updating it regularly or if you are contributing to Qt.

        @SGaist: I didn't do the developer build - I just did ./configure & make & make install, e.g. I didn't use -developer-build switch. The problem is that only WebKit frameworks are linked with absolute path.
