QtWebEngine on embedded linux high cpu load

Hi,
I tried recently to replace my QtWebkit browser with a QtWebEngine (WebEngineWidget based) browser on my TI AM3352 (has no GPU) board. I was able to load webpages, but noticed that the main process is causing really high cpu load which leads to a really bad reaction time (It also takes really long to load the browser).
This was not the case with QtWebkit.Does someone experience a similar behaviour?
I'm using Qt 5.4.1 and Yocto Fido with X11.
