"What is a Session?" link in QtCreator 3.4.0 Session Manager not working
-
Hello all,
I'm brand new to Qt and cranked up QtCreator and started poking around a bit. I opened up the Session Manager and clicked on the "What is a Session?" link at the bottom left of the dialog but nothing happened. I checked around the program options to see if there was something that I needed to configure (e.g. default browser etc.) but found nothing obvious.
I wanted to make sure it wasn't something else I needed to do before submitting a bug report. Please advise.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to devnet,
A "Session" is in fact a set of project or opened files that is "stored" when saving the session (e.g. when closing Qt Creator) so you can reopen them easily on startup or switch between different projects without having to go look again where they are stored

Thanks for the quick response SGaist. I was guessing that it was something along those lines.
I also wanted to know whether to submit a bug report. One concern is that there might be other help links elsewhere in the interface that also aren't working. I'll probably go ahead and submit one but if anyone else with 3.4.0 installed can check on their system then I'll have some idea of whether it's just me or not.
