    I use the same type of toolbar that QtCreator has on the left.
    When you hover an item on Windows, you get a nice effect (fade in)

    I don't know if it's my machine (VMware with 10.9) but I don't have this effect on OSX.
    I checked my code with qDebug and the fadeIn effect trigger (animator), so I'm wondering if anyone on OSX could confirm if the hover effect is working?

    Thank you!

      Hi,

      Do you mean hovering over e.g. the debug icon ?

        @SGaist

        Yes exactly, hovering on "debug" and "edit" icon for example, no effect occur on my OSX.

            @SGaist

            Thanks SGaist,
            Will try to look out a little what may be causing the issue.
            The animator triggers, but I just don't see anything happening on the icon.
            Nice effect, would like it to be present of OS X too

              It might also be an OS specific behavior e.g. no animation available on OS X but might be worth checking the bug report system
