    For example if i create windows, button, message box via the graphic interface of qt creator. Would this "old" version of qt works ?

      No. There were major, incompatible changes between Qt 3 and Qt 4 (many many years ago). See http://doc.qt.digia.com/4.6/porting4-designer.html

      Qt 3 is no longer supported.

        Ok, i thougth this too (the person who give me the toolchain worked on qt3.3.8 in 2003...).
        Sadly i must use the toolchain arm-linux-gcc-3.4.5-glibc-2.3.6-linux, do you think i could still use it on a newer version of qt ?

          I don't know, to be honest. You can subscribe to the Interest mailing list and ask there. Qt engineers are active on the list, and they would know better than me.

          Anyway, since you have source code written in Qt 3, it might be best to maintain it using Qt 3: http://download.qt.io/archive/qt/3/

            Hi, i found the post of someone using the same kind of device than me who used the source 4.4.3 but when trying the "make" it i have a new issue, i created a thread dedicated to this error here :
