    Folks,

    After installing Qt Enterprise, I was able to create a QML application using the wizard and was able to deploy the app on an Android device. A few hours later, something changed somewhere. If I create a new QML application using the wizard and try to deploy it, Qt Creator fails to start the application. I get an error message instead, "Reading debug information failed. I'm sorry Dave. I can't do that. Symbol format 'elf32-littlearm' unknown.

    I am playing email tag with Qt support. So far, no progress. I have done all the things that they had asked:

    1. Effective qmake call has "CONFIG += debug" in it.
    2. Unchecked "Warn when debugging release mode"

    I am surprised that no one else has reported this problem yet. I haven't done anything that is out of the way. Just generated the skeleton application using Qt Quick wizard.

    I am wondering if anyone has any insight into what could be going on.

    Regards,
    Pradeep

      Most likely the message comes from gdb.

        error (_("I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that.  Symbol format '%s' unknown."), bfd_get_target (abfd));

      Could you verify that you trying to start your app using correct platform.

      The phrase comes from "2001: A Space Odyssey". Here is a quote
