Tried use sender() in normal slot but called using invokeMethod(). Suddenly got 0 pointer... Is that normal behavior? So why? The same signal-slot engine used as after connection. I did not find any info not in docs nor in Web.

      Hi,

You can find the explanation "here":http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qobject.html#sender . If the slot is not activated by a signal it will return 0
