Android communication from / to a QML View
-
Hi,
I am trying to build a complex view (a rich text editor) using Qt Quick. I want to be able from another Android application to modify that view at runtime. For example, if the user adds/removes characters, I want this events to be sent to the Qt view. Is that possible? Any hints or comment will be appreciated.
Another important question would be if it is possible to create a view with Qt and use it in a native Android project. That is, is it possible to manipulate the view from Java/JNI code (or somehow)? If so, how could I do it?
Regards.

I don't understand your requirements. Do you mean you need inter-process communication? for example, one process is a Qt application, another process is an application that can send messages to the Qt application.

Yes, I want to access from one Android project to the view created in Qt. Is that possible?

Maybe you should use Binder.
