    Hello to all,

We are developing applications with QT5 QtCreator on mac 10.9
Unfortunately, as far as the dubbuging, we have problems because it is not possible to follow step by step the program if it is composed of multiple libraries linked.

that recommended development environment for mac with QT5?
there are tools for QT Creator?

    thanks

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

What errors are you getting ? What version of Xcode did you install ?

        Hi SGaist,

        there aren't errors.
we don't use XCode on MAC 10.9.

we use qt creator but if the software is composed of many libraries the debbugger doesn't work.

if the error is in one library the debbugger doen't enter.

        don't you finds?

do you advise me to use xcode?

No, I don't advise anything yet. To develop on OS X you still need Xcode installed in order to get the tools to build/debug etc.

That I understood right, and I am doing the same. However, the version of Xcode is still relevant, having 3.4.6 installed is not the same as having the latest 5.0.2

we use the debbugger of qt creator.
we load the all project on qt creator and use the complier and debbugger of qt creator.

but if there are errors in one library we can't find the position in the project beacuse is only possible find the error in the main project

Qt Creator is just an IDE it doesn't provide any compiler nor debugger, just use the ones provided.

Got to options -> Build & Run -> Debuggers

                        in options->Build and Run -> Debuggers,we have:

                        Auto-detected
                        LLDB
                        GDB

                        thanks
