    Did anyone succeed in getting swipe, pan and pinch gestures in a QWidget based android application. I only seem to be able to get the tap and hold gesture.

        yes, grabbed all gestures, even tried swiping with 2 or three fingers, nothing happens except for tap and hold

            Finally found what seems to be the problem, to get the gestures in a custom widget I have to call grabGesture(...) in both the MainWindow constructor and in my custom widget.
