    Appication would be
    Phonebook , media , telephony , navigation

        There is already lincense based tool called squish from froglogic . I am looking for open source tools available .

        Testing

        1. Testing Screens
        2. Property based verifications
        3. Some kind of recording and playback

          Ok, so you are talking about tests.

          Squish is very good, recommend that. The cheaper option is to write tests using QtTestLib.

          I do not know of any other good options.

            Thank you Gennon , I thought qttestlib is used for unit testing . Will check this out for Automating GUI screens and verification ,

            Any suggestions regarding using QTP or selenium
