Hello,
The Qt Accessibility features (help/make the developed application more usable by people with disabilities) does not work on Mac OS X (tried with the Apple VoiceOver utility).
The Qt documentation, for both for 4.8 and 5.0, seems to copy-pasted from version 4.7:
@ Note: There is no accessibility support in the Cocoa version. This is planned for Qt 4.8. @http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5.0/developing-on-mac.html
I tried on Windows (with the built-in Narrator screen reader) and it works great.
Do you have any update about Qt widget Accessibility on Mac OS X?
Thanks,

Replying to myself: according to Qt Labs - Developer Blog, Cocoa Accessibility support is planned for QT 5.1:
http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2012/06/18/qt-5-accessibility-apis/Next questions:
- how the development is going?
- when is planned 5.1? Is 5.1 the final release of Qt 5?

Can a Qt engineer confirm that this is not working on Mac for 4.8?
Because we are having the same issue, but we don't know if it is due to our implementation.
Thanks,

Hi,
If you would like the answer of a Qt developer/maintainer you should rather ask it on the interest mailing list. This forum is more user oriented.
