          Nice feature request. I'd like to see this functionality, myself. I voted for it.

              Hi,

              I have implemented this. All you need to do is add line:

              Core::EditorManager::instance()->gotoOtherSplit();

              on few places in the code. Better look at bug report for details where

              Regards,
              Petar

                Hi,

                I have pushed this to gerrit:

                https://codereview.qt-project.org/#change,38614

                Do I need to add reviewers myself?

                If yes,who should I add?

                Regards,
                Petar

                  Are you sure that is the right patch?

                      HI,

                      one more question - how do I add comments on Gerrit. Stupid question, but I can not figure it out.

                        The way this is implemented is that it either always opens in the same split or always opens in a different split.

                        Is there a way to indicate the split I want to show the symbol in?

                        Sometimes I want to open it in a different split and sometimes in the same split.
