[QtCreator] Follow symbol under cursor question
-
Hi,
Is there a way I can make "Follow symbol under cursor" to show symbol in another split.
While I work I usually have several splits, and it would be nice if symbol under cursor would open in another split, so I can have source file visible at the same time.
If not, where to post feature requests?

Petar -
I am not aware of such an option, sorry.
The best place to put feature requests is our "bug tracker":http://bugreports.qt-project.org/ .

Thank you. I reported it :-)

Could you please post a link to the bug report here? I am curious:-)

Hi,
I have implemented this. All you need to do is add line:
Core::EditorManager::instance()->gotoOtherSplit();
on few places in the code. Better look at bug report for details where

Hi,
I have pushed this to gerrit:
https://codereview.qt-project.org/#change,38614
Do I need to add reviewers myself?
If yes,who should I add?
Regards,

Are you sure that is the right patch?

HI,
one more question - how do I add comments on Gerrit. Stupid question, but I can not figure it out.
-
The way this is implemented is that it either always opens in the same split or always opens in a different split.
Is there a way to indicate the split I want to show the symbol in?
Sometimes I want to open it in a different split and sometimes in the same split.
