[Solved] Developing for E72

Is Qt 4.7 suited for this device ?

I mean can Qt 4.7 deploy to the E72 ?

Just asking, because my app works with the emulator (Non Touch Device)

Since it is running with S60 3rd Edition FP2 it should work

It should, indeed. But it doesn't.

Is there anybody out there in the Qt world who succesfully deployed QtNokiaSDK app to E72 ?

Or is it just a myth ?

I have tested Qt 4.7.0 with an E72 and it works fine for me. Do the 'fluidlauncher' examples work?

fluidlauncher does not work properly either.

It starts, but when choosing a screen I get an error "Function not supported" .

Even a simple Form with a pushbutton does not run.
When the text is remove from the button the app runs !
When a string is assigned to the button during runtime, an error occurs ("Function not supported").

I've reinstalled already on both the pc and my E72, but to no avail.

Well it worked out, finally. Sort of, actually.

After dowloading Qt_demos.sis from "http://qt.nokia.com/phonedemos":http://qt.nokia.com/phonedemos I was able to start fluidlauncher.

But there's still a problem with dispaying text information.

A pushbutton with the default text value "Pushbutton" is show as "CCCCCCCCCCCC".

Needles to say, it works perfectly in the emulator.

What'd you say ?

Solved !!

The "culprit" was Flipfont. After changing back to the default font everything is working fine.

It was a hard time.
