You can debug Qt app for Symbian using "CODA and Qt Creator":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtcreator-2.3/creator-developing-symbian.html#using-on-device-debugging-agents The device must be connected via USB cable or WLAN.

i have download CODA by
http://tools.ext.nokia.com/coda/

but this is not supported by device.

How To Get CODA for "N95 8gb".

i am using Symbian 1^ Qt 4.6.3

target device is "N95 8GB"

i need CODA for it

I am no expert for Symbian devices, but but I think that Symbian^1 is not supported by CODA at all! You will need to use TRK for those devices.

Qt Creator does not support TRK anymore, so you need to stick with a older version (up to 2.3 IIRC).

Install Qt Creator 2.3 and hit "debug". Qt Creator 2.4 has no TRK support.

now i am using Qt Creator 2.3.0
and "TRK" in target device(N95 8GB).

when i am trying to deploy app in device.
then system shows a msg.

"Qt Creator is waiting for CODA application to connect.
please make sure the application is running on youre mobile phone and right IP
address and/or port are configured in the project settings."

#1# but "N95 8GB" not support CODA.
#2# In TRK port:1 but in Qt Creator Run setting Serial port is "Nokia N95 8GB USB
(COM7)".

so plz help me.

by using "Qt Creator 2.2.1" & "TRK"
i can see debug msg.
