Does Qt will work in android o.s?
-
I am writing one application in qt. I want to run it on android also.

See "Necessitas.":http://sourceforge.net/p/necessitas/home/necessitas/

Also, you can use the tag system provided by devnet. Click on a tag on the right of this screen and you will get all topics, wiki pages, FAQ's available here on devnet.
They are ordered by using the rating system below the tags.
-
But any one of you have tested it practically?
-
yes, it works.
-
Yes, and if you don't believe us google for android and necessitas on youtube ;)
If you are on linux, follow the steps on the necessitas website mentioned above. If you're on windows look at the wiki articles here on devnet.
For specific questions you can ask on the sourceforge forum. The developers answer qeustions actively there.

The best performance I have seen of Qt / necessitas is on Mac, then Ubuntu 10.04, then Windows

Hi Enrico,
What do you mean exactly? Performance of the emulator? Compiling time? All on the same hardware? Could you elaborate some more?
Interesting to know.
Cheers,
Eddy

Hi Eddy,
the concept is reliable in terms of less troubles in installation, works fine when connected to a Android tab etc. Then I have not experiemented all the possibilities of this so I can't give a complete description of all the differences. But it is only question of time, I'm starting to work with it :)
-
Ok, thanks for the clarification.
Btw : glad to see you're alife again after your deadline ;)
-
Yep :) My deadline is always dead, but not so dead a before. Releasing in these days very complex symbian application and very complex++ Harmattan. Asap Qt Complex will be released 2.0 with a lot of improvements (but this is another story, another post etc....)
-
Thank's all of you

Anyway, I will update any progress I do. Next week is the officially "startup" including android in my development platforms ;)
