Is something special needed to support closing your app when user attempts to close it by swiping down (obviously while that feature is enabled)? I have a simple QGLWidget based app for which this isn't working automatically at least.
It should be handled automatically by the OS. Is your app in landscape mode? If so you may need to swipe across instead of down to close the app.
