I am attempting to use Font Hinting to increase readability for a TTF font with Qt 4.6.2 for Embedded Linux. This version uses FreeType 2.3.9. I have already enabled the TT_CONFIG_OPTION_BYTECODE_INTERPRETER and recompiled FreeType to use the correct code in the font engine. So far I am still not seeing any change in the font rendering.
Any ideas on how to enable this? Does Qt need to be configured to use Font Hinting?Thanks!

Dose Qt Embedded support ttf font? I need to show text according to ttf font in my embedded qt application but my app dose not show ttf font in list.
