Well done in exploring and implementing this :) One way of stopping the flickering you mentioned is to bind the minimumHeight and maximumHeight properties of the Window to the business card ratio we want: minimumHeight: width / 1.586 maximumHeight: width / 1.586 You can learn more about those here

I can't edit my previous message now but I finally managed to run the program. It seems that the file path was too long, and by renaming my project to "Challenge1" (it was previously called "QML-for-Beginners-Challenges-Intro-to-QML"), it worked.

Hi, You might want to check the Qt Academy for courses. For videos, the KDAB YouTube channel has pretty interesting stuff.

We also have some of Scythe Studio's courses on Qt Academy, where you can earn some super sweet badges and track your progress ;)

I have no doubt that you have bragging rights for your RPi-driven farm :-) If you're very keen to get Qt on your RPi, there are articles that describe how to do it: This one builds Qt on the RPi itself (which is very feasible on a beefy RPi5): https://www.tal.org/tutorials/building-qt-65-raspberry-pi-raspberry-pi-os This one cross-compiles Qt on an Ubuntu host for the RPi: https://wiki.qt.io/Cross-Compile_Qt_6_for_Raspberry_Pi However, there are many many steps involved, and it can be tedious for newbies. I strongly believe you will have a much more enjoyable experience if you start by learning how to write Qt apps directly on desktop Linux.
