Yes, thanks a lot, Gurudutt. That reflects what I would anticipate.
It seems that the we have room to improve the documentation content under qt-project.org.
Absolutely. Lots, actually!
With such great features like the Docmarks and Doc Notes (developer notes) I would like to have all the Qt documentation available under the doc section. It seems that more often than not you hit some link/search that will take you to the nokia web site. For example I couldn't find qml documentation under qt-project.org.
So do we. We're currently working on getting the Qt Creator manual into the system, then we need to decide what's next. Qt Quick sounds like a good candidate, but we haven't looked into details yet. So no promises, as usual. :P
One more: I don't if it is just me but having two DOC links on the top of the page that point to two completely different locations is a "little" confusing...
Yes, we know. We have some changes both to the content and design of the site in the pipeline, among other things to address this specific problem.
Just to be clear: I think the qt-project.org doc is great! That is the only reason why I would like to never have to leave it to find qt documentation elsewhere :)
Awwww. I'm flattered. :)
I would suggest not to delete them. After a period of doing other things people can come back and participate again. In this specific case, i've sent a personal mail to alicemirror, i'm sure he was very busy doing other things and that he doesn't want to vanish. ;-)
Thank you, No action is taken for deleting members yet, so still there is a possibility for members to come back and accept new T&C and all works as it was.

Maybe the administrators can change the user group settings for the future. There is a setting that is on by default : new users should be accepted by the group owner, but I don't see why this is necessary. [edit: just checked by joining the group and it works already, Eddy]

I would also really appreciate it if it were possible to upload diagrams/screenshots to the wiki. Is is really not possible to overcome the licensing/maintenance issues? Wikipedia somehow manages to do it, don't they? So for now...
The file upload interface is in this URI: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/Special:Upload
...is that still the best recommendation?

http://qt-project.org/wiki/Category:Developing_Qt::Qt_5 http://qt-project.org/wiki/category:Developing_with_Qt::Qt_5 http://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt_5.0 Is there a "smart" way to combine these 3 different wiki pages (I am sure there are more) into one? I feel tempted to suggest that the solution for "almost anything" is to create a new group so... is there any other obvious way to "group" forum and wiki around a theme? It quickly becomes too hard to maintain or find any content if they are all scattered around without any obvious "place"
AFAIK, the badges were automatically applied if the mail adress you use for the DevNet is the same as you used for DevDays. If not, send a mail to Alexandra.
Thanks! I am pretty sure I used different e-mails :)

The qt-project.org component in JIRA was originally the basic page we did for the launch. But since we swapped domains it will turn into the main component for issues for this site. I'll do a mass move. For now it doesn't matter if you choose one or both, they end up in the same place. Thanks!
Also my support for this request. Andre, you are right there are already requests concerning a distinction for different languages open. However, it seem to be good to bring it up again. Unfortunately we can vote only once for a request. Maybe after some time it would be good to be able to revote for rising a flag that this is still of importance. In general it would be already of great help to have a button to mark a topic as read. A button for marking as "not interested in this topic" would be really a significant improvement, when those topic would not show up again.
Just found this "updated thead by peppe":https://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/12303/ The script does provide the "mark as read" button.
