@Sucharek Another way for this is to add object name to the style sheet. Then you do not need extra code.

@abdelilah Do you have any comment to make on my answers? Which boil down to: You can't call C++ from C. You can't call a C++ method instance from C on an instance passed from C++ to C. You can't call a C++ function directly because you don't know what mangled name to look for (e.g. what did your FctPrtp op = (FctPrtp) QLibrary::resolve("link to my .dll file", "operator>>"); return for op?). Just wondering :) Is there a way to do so? Will be interesting to see.....

@Chris-Kawa Works perfectly on both Windows and OSX! I'll leave a footnote for anyone in future, that it seems that on OSX you have to actually install a event filter into the QApplication to handle the event, the QWidget does not seem to receive this event, where as it seems to on Windows. Thanks Chris again for the response, will mark as solved

@clarify said in QTableWidget moveCursor: Is there any need to call the superclass's moveCursor? As @SGaist said, it's difficult to guess without seeing any code. But returning a randomly disappearing cursor is quite likely related to not returning to the superclass's moveCursor().

@guilherme-andrade said in Creating a heat map: Hello, i am a student and i am quite new to qt. i am trying to make a small project for University. i wonder Is there a method to make a heat map Qt6 with data collected from arduino. If possible which libraries are better to use. Not something I know of in Qt, but if allowed, you could use OpenCV's ColorMap. Or you implement something like that yourself. Using Gradient/HSV Color-space...

    I got it! I somehow indeed broke the system and reinstalling all the dependencies fixed it: apt-cache depends build-essential | grep '[ |]Depends: [^<]' | cut -d: -f2 | tr -d ' ' | xargs sudo apt-get --reinstall install Thank you @SGaist, @Christian-Ehrlicher, and @Abderrahmene_Rayene

@ZINE this lib path is not set. Do the following: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:path-to-libtorch you can use locate libtorch.so to find its path

@dnasta I have found simple example with similar implementation. But anyway, this is old school syntax of connect, with new syntax it doesn't work.

@Bineere said in duplicate objects issue in Qt Creator (C++ programming): each time the button "button_add_line" is clicked, the signal "clicked" is emitted twice This implies you have done the connect() twice. I bet that in addition to your explicit connect() you are using the Designer's default of auto-connect. That is because you have named your slot on_button_add_line_clicked, it's to do with that, and your button is named something like button_add_line. Either change the name, or switch off the auto-connecting.
