Hello. I run Arch Linux. I have been able to have Qt applications run a system theme through configuration. However, I am unable to set the highlight/selection color.

For instance, in VLC the progressbar color always remains the default blue. In other Qt applications the highlight/selection color is also this default blue. Beyond this my applications match my theme. I have searched and been unable to find any code that can give me a system wide Qt highlight/selection color.

Is a system wide, default highlight/selection color possible through a config file on Linux? If there is a way to do this, please point me to a tutorial or anything helpful. I've never used Qt before. Many thanks.

U meant something like setting setStyleSheet to whole app using selection-color or selection-background-color ?

        --Alles ist gut.
