SideBar for desktop application using drawer and stackview

Adding a drawer that pushes different stack pages to a stackview. This would eventually work like a sidebar but for desktop applications. I cant seem to work this out! so far I have done this with buttons on the side but I want to replace these with a nice side bar that pushes different elements. Does anybody have any leads or source code that could help me!
