textelide in listview not working like before 5.12

in qt 5.12 the listview the textelide mode is not working . before 5.12 the elideright option replaced extra text with "...." .but it is not happening with 5.12. now it makes multipal lines and do "..." .
I saw some bug report in other widgets like qtoolbutton. so should i write a function to do that or is there a fix for it?

Update to 5.12.1, the complete fix which also fixes some corner cases is in 5.12.2
