    I've installed designer from the downloads and I get the message shown. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but to no avail. I'm a newbie to this so don't really understand much of what is on the internet and really need help.

    I'm using windows 10 and have the anaconda python distribution installed. All I want to do is modify some UIs that already exist.

    can anyone help please?

      @AROB2 ,

      Do you get your Qt Designer with Anaconda?
      When you get from Anaconda, I could look for same issues.
      https://github.com/ContinuumIO/anaconda-issues/issues/6537

      It might be improved by adding to the Windows environment variable as below.

      QT_QPA_PLATFORM_PLUGIN_PATH= ${Anaconda_install_path}\Library\plugins\platforms

      Please replace ${Anaconda_install_path} with your environment.
