Yesterday Nokia announced that Henry Tirri has been appointed executive vice president, Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Nokia Leadership Team. He will follow Richard Green on that seat, who finally has left Nokia after taking a break earlier this year.

    Read Nokia's press release "here":http://press.nokia.com/2011/09/22/nokia-appoints-henry-tirri-chief-technology-officer-and-member-of-nokia-leadership-team/.

Well, this step wasn't really surprising, was it? Another blow for Nokia mainly caused by Elop.

Another big name "quitted" today. Leo Apotheker "has been fired":http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press/2011/110922xb.html for the damage caused to HP. Probably others should learn a lesson from the boards decision.

Well, yeah it, does get quite scary when you consider the scale of the thing over the last few months... but judging from amount of work that is constantly being done on Qt4 and Qt5 (numerous commits on daily basis; plus activity on mailing lists etc.) Qt itself is still doing fine, or even great. Also, Alexandra posted 2 new Qt job offers today.
