    Is it legal to buy Qt commercial lisence and use it with an application that i developed with open source lisence ?

    Basically i'm using free version for my developement right now, but i plan to buy commercial version; Do i have to buy it now and start the project from zero, or i can develop freely and buy the license after ?

      @LeLev

      You need to check with the commercial guys.

      IIRC a similar clause was in the pages describing the differences between commercial and open source licensing years ago. This was when Qt was still owned by TrollTech respectively before TrollTech was bought by Nokia. Ever since probably dozens of lawyers went over the license text. The license model has been changed too. We have LGPL which was not an option at the time.

      Vote the answer(s) that helped you to solve your issue(s)
