Client Certificates on QTWebengine - QML

I was wondering if it is possible to use client certificates with QML-QtWebengine. I was not able to use this feature with QtWebengine. Is it even possible?

I know that there is a closed bug for this problem https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-54877?attachmentViewMode=list. But it is solved in 5.12 alpha and only for Widgets. Are there maybe some workarounds for QT 5.11 and QML? I am using Qt-Webengine with Yocto Rocko.
