Have any one tried to use the wip/win branch of qtconnectivity. Is the module properly working and is it safe to use it for application development. Is there anything I need to keep in mind or need to know before I use this work in progress module.

when you ask this way, the answer its clearly NO.
A WIP branch becomes ready for production when it gets released properly (=merged). -
