    Is it possible to display the tab labels of a QTabWidget over multiple rows, instead of having scroll buttons?

    Like this:

    I've scrutinized the documentation, can't find a function of property that sets this option.

    I've looked at "Customizing QTabWidget", but that seems like a lot of work for such a common requirement.

    There is a Stackoverflow post from five years ago, surely Qt has advanced since?

      @Sprezzatura
      Hi
      Nope , it cant. Sure Qt has progressed a lot but that type of massive
      tabWidget are not really in demand as its considered
      horrible UX for the end user.

      So in most cases a Listwidget + a StackedWidget provides a more
      elegant and user friendly experience compare to multirow tabs.
      (2 is not so bad. MS had some with 4-5 levels :)

      That said, its been requested way back
      https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-22487
      and you can vote for it.

        OK, I will investigate the StackedWidget approach. At least I know I didn't miss something.

        I have voted on it.

        Thanks.
