bq. In some very rare cases the underlying call may fail. If this occurs an error message is output to stderr.

You should try to grab this error message

Without the error message I guess it would be hard to find out... Aren't you able to retrieve it?

In command prompt its giving above error message nothing else. But along with this some errors like XLib:sequence Failed,XError BadLenght,BadAccess etc... All these problems started after introducing threads.

Ha! thread an GUI are not working along: GUI should work only in the main thread. Only lengthy operations should be threaded.
              "Qt doc":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7-snapshot/thread-basics.html#gui-thread-and-worker-thread
