    Hls.js demo

does not work on Windows WebView, but works on Android. Why so? And how to run it on Windows?

@kuris996 , WebView uses different backends on Android and Windows: On Android it is the native browser, on Windows it's Qt WebEngine.

For Qt WebEngine, I suppose HLS uses codecs that need to be licensed. To get them, you need to compile Qt WebEngine yourself with a -webengine-proprietary-codecs configure flag (see also https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtwebengine-features.html#audio-and-video-codecs). In addition, you need to make sure to license them properly.
