No option to install "Qt For Automation" in the online installer
According to the documentation here: http://doc.qt.io/QtForAutomation/qtautomation-install.html, there should be an option to install "Qt For Automation" via the qt online installer. I created an account (this one) and used it for the installer, but the option won't show up. I tried with the MaintenanceTool after installing and with the online installer again after ordinary install without an account. I'm interested in trying thq QMQTT module.
it also says that it's based on "Qt for Device Creation" which is only available commercially.
So my guess is when you don't have a license in for it in your account it will not be displayed either.

You can build this from source yourself. We had this request several times here in the forum and a search should give you some good results.
See http://lists.qt-project.org/pipermail/development/2018-June/032852.html -- "There are no binaries for open source users. However open source users are free to build their own binaries using GPLv3."
The modules that collectively form Qt for Automation are listed at http://doc.qt.io/QtForAutomation/qtautomation-overview.html
@aha_1980 thx, i tried the search first but I apparently didn't catch the right ones
@JKSH thanks, I didn't get that for the open license i have to compile them on my own, will try that.
